Yoga has been part of my life for over 20 years in varying degrees of practice with great appreciation and curiosity. I am a qualified Level 1 Yoga Teacher currently upgrading my now deepening my own practice by studying Yoga as Lifestyle Medicine with my long-time teacher Celia Roberts at BIYOME. With special interests in Restorative Yoga, Yoga Nidra and Yoga Qi Gong.
Yoga Nidra or Yogic Sleep as it is also known is an ancient meditation practice. It draws our attention inwards, between the states of wakefulness and sleep, where our body finds its natural state of equilibrium. Lying in Savasana you will be guided to an innate state of deep, blissful awareness.
Combining the best of both Yoga and Qi Gong, two ancient practices that have been used for centuries to promote health and well-being. Yoga Qi Gong has been shown to improve flexibility, strength, and balance. It has also been shown to reduce stress, anxiety, and depression.
